Last night we had a nutrition seminar at the gym which was interesting. It was quite a different approach to nutrition and what I got out of it was that if I wish to improve at CrossFit and life in general I need to get a balance between stress and the things I need to do to reduce that stress. When that balance is out of whack that is when I have low energy levels, have sugar cravings etc.
While I didn't necessarily agree with everything that this guy had to say and even though we have a nutrition challenge for next month I seriously doubt I'll be eliminating anything from my diet (been there, done that!) I think there are a few things that I can work on to get some more balance in my life like sleep and social media.
